One of the most frustrating thing is when someone else with a casually taking data on a computer that we painstakingly collected. Whether it's the photos of coverage, MP3 and so on. Well, so they can do casually, we can hide the hard drive for a while so that could not be accessed.
There are several ways that we can use, but is more often used this way:
1. Open the Start Menu | Run | type diskpart and press Enter.
2. Will open a DOS window, type list volume and press Enter.
3. To hide Drive E for example, select the first volume, type select volume 3 and press Enter.
4. Type remove letter E and press Enter (to hide Drive E, for example).
5. To bring back Drive E, select the first volume (eg, select volume 3) and type assign letter E and press Enter.
6. Repeat the above if you want to hide drive C, F, and so on. This allows us to hide multiple drives at once in one time.
Note:
After doing this, sometimes the computer needs to reboot. Do not worry about the data, because the data in a hidden hard drive remains the same and not lost. Finally, we recommend that Drive C (where the Windows operating system is) is not hidden.
